Diane Roberts, DVM

Dr. Diane RobertsDr. Roberts received her DVM from the University of Georgia in 1996 and remained in Georgia another four years to complete a small animal internship and residency in small animal internal medicine. She became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2000 and practiced in large referral centers in Dallas and Kansas City prior to moving to California. Dr. Roberts enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, especially endoscopic procedures, critical care, immune-mediated diseases, and medical oncology.

Heidi McClain, DVM

Dr. Heidi McClainDr. McClain attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her DVM in 1995, she completed a one-year small animal internship in medicine and surgery and then a three-year internal medicine residency at the University of Georgia. Dr. McClain became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 1999. She remained at the University for an additional year as a clinical instructor for fourth year veterinary students. Dr. McClain enjoys all disciplines within internal medicine, with a particular interest in cardiology and ultrasonography.

Micki McCabe, DVM

Dr. Micki McCabeDr. McCabe graduated from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She finished a small animal internal medicine residency at UC Davis in 1994, and she has been board certified by ACVIM since 1996. Before joining VMS, Dr. McCabe worked in private practice here in the Bay Area. Her professional interests include all aspects of internal medicine, including immune-mediated diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, medical oncology, and reproductive and other endocrine disorders.

Kris Bruskiewicz, DVM

Dr. Kris BruskiewiczDr. Bruskiewicz graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and then completed an internship at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California at Davis, and she became board certified by ACVIM in 1997. Dr. Bruskiewicz has practiced internal medicine in the Bay Area since 1998, and her special interests include gastrointestinal, hepatic, renal, immune-mediated, endocrine diseases, and neurology.

Casey Cadile, DVM

Dr. Casey CadileDr. Cadile completed her Master’s degree work in Clinical Oncology and obtained her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2001. She also completed a medical and radiation oncology internship at the University of Illinois. She completed a medical/surgical internship at Cornell University and then moved to San Diego to practice emergency veterinary medicine until she began her medical oncology residency with VMS and Michigan State University in 2004. Dr. Cadile became a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Oncology in 2007. Dr. Cadile is especially interested in canine hemangiosarcomas and anti-angiogenic therapy.

Kelly Chaffin, DVM

Dr. Kelly ChaffinDr. Chaffin graduated from the Texas A & M School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. Chaffin then trained in medical oncology at North Carolina State University. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the Specialities of Internal Medicine in 1998 and in Oncology in 2001.

Linda Fineman, DVM

Dr. Linda FinemanDr. Fineman graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Following an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Kansas State University, Dr. Fineman completed a residency in medical oncology at Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fineman became a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Oncology in 1996.

Andrea Struble, DVM, MPVM

Dr. Andrea StrubleDr. Struble received her DVM and Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (MPVM) degrees in 1994 from UC Davis, with an emphasis in Veterinary Public Health. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Cornell University in 1995. Dr. Struble did her small animal internal medicine residency at UC Davis and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1998.

Jennifer Clooten, DVM, DVSc

Jennifer Clooten Dr. Clooten received her DVM degree in 1999 from the University of Saskatchewan. She moved onto the University of Guelph where she completed a small animal internship and a three year internal medicine residency. Simultaneous with these studies she earned a DVSc degree. Jen became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003.

Martin Jakubiak, DVM

Martin Jakubiak Dr. Jakubiak received his DVM degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Martin completed his small animal internship and internal medicine residency with our own Dr. Kris Bruskiewicz. Having a strong interest in cancer therapy, he then went on to complete an oncology residency. Martin obtained his board certification in Internal Medicine from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2006 and in Oncology in 2007.

Brigid Nicholson, DVM

Brigid Nicholson Dr. Nicholson graduated from Cornell in 1990 and completed her internship at Georgia. She completed an internal medicine residency at Cornell and became board certified by the American College of Internal Medicine in 1996.

Abbey Kaufman, DVM, MS

Abbey Kaufman Dr. Kaufman received her DVM from Tufts University in 1988. She then completed both her internship and medicine residency at Georgia. Abbey moved to Charleston, South Carolina and started the area's frist internal medicine specialty practice. She remained in Charleston for 10 years before moving to the Bay Area to join VMS.

Wendi Velando Rankin, DVM, MS

Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology)
Dr. Rankin received her veterinary degree in 2004 at UC Davis. She then moved to Missouri where she completed her small animal medicine and surgery intership at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Wendi stayed at Missouri to complete her oncology residency. She also completed a Master of Science degree while there. Wendi joined VMS as an Oncologist in the Dublin hospital in August 2008.

Michael Kiselow, DVM

Dr. Kiselow received his veterinary degree in 2004 from Cornell University in New York. He then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey. Michael returned to Cornell and completed his medical oncology residency in 2008. Michael joined VMS as an Oncologist in the Campbell hospital in September 2008.
